Lockdown drawings
A collaboration by post, started in Lockdown when working together in a studio was forbidden.
A4 drawings sent in brown manilla envelopes. A gift of colour, mark, one another’s chaos through the letterbox. COVID is over but the work continues, the brown envelopes now handed to one another rather than posted.
The drawings are a refuse, nothing serious, a break from the inner wrestle of determining the work, the don’t haver to be resolved, good, finished, they get passed over, looked at worked on, passed back, in an envelope with the date on, date crossed out, updated, handed back. At some point one will band a few together - finished? Then the other puts them into a finished pile.
